Jammers Lose 6-4

5 runs in the top of the 4th pace the Pioneers to a 6-4 win. Elmira improves to 25-21 as the jammers fall to 31-14 (1st In Western Division). 

In the bottom of the 2nd the Jammers took an early lead 1-0 lead as Jimmy Standohar (Mercyhurst) tripled and later scored on a Christian Deaton (UC Bakersfield) ground out. 

The Pioneers did most of their scoring in the top of the 4th as they scored 5 runs on 5 hits to go up 5-1. The inning got started as Marshall Gilbert (John A Logan) and Ayrton Schafer (Samford) led the inning off with back to back singles. After a walk to load the bases Jonathan Crimmin (Siena) doubled that scored 2. The big inning continued when Devon Adams (Old Dominion) and Andrew Orzel (Wofford) both had RBI singles to conclude the 5-run inning. 5-1 Pioneers. 

Jamestown struggled to get their offense going until the bottom of the 8th as they scored 3 runs on 2 hits. Nick Bernick (Niagara) and John Conti (Canisius) both doubled to score a run and Ben Brookover (UTSA) sac fly scored Conti to make cut the Pioneers led down to 1. 5-4 Pioneers after 8. 

The Pioneers would add an insurance run in the top of the 9th to make it 6-4 and close it out in the bottom of the inning to secure the win.
